By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Aug. 15: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 98 new cases of COVID-19 in Kathmandu Valley today.
In 11,047 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests conducted in the last 24 hours, as many as 98 persons were found with the virus infection in the Valley, informed Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson of the ministry in the daily press briefing today.
Of the 98 new cases, 80 were detected in Kathmandu and nine each were detected in Lalitpur and Bhaktapur.
Moreover, 468 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed across the nation on Saturday, taking the tally to 26,019 including 17,201 cases of recovery and 102 death cases.
